Temporary User Support Technician
The Temporary User Support Technician will be assigned to work with a team of Sr. User Support Technicians to perform routine summer computer/hardware maintenance. The employee will work side-by-side with this team in performing the duties listed below. Candidate must be highly motivated and willing to learn/perform new tasks on a regular basis. Prior computer support experience is a plus but not necessary. 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in loading computer images/software on District computer hardware
Assist in teardown/setup of computer labs and classroom workstations/LSU's
Assist in summer cleaning of District Hardware
Assist in summer inventory of all District technology equipment
Assist with loading/unloading of computer equipment (repetitive lifting of up to 70 lbs)
Assist in transfer of computer equipment both internally at school site and across sites
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must be highly motivated and willing to learn/perform new tasks on a regular basis. Prior computer support experience is a plus but not necessary. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Employment Information:
This is a temporary full-time position for the months of June - July Summer work hours will be 8 hours per day, Monday- Friday (7:00 am 3:45 pm). Some alternate work days may be required as needed to support summer projects. Salary: Temporary Rate of Pay is $20.00 per hour.
