Primary Purpose of the Role:
Perform all facets of maintenance, repair, installation and modification to company equipment, buildings and grounds.
Essential Functions:
Performs grade or product changeovers on machine centers, including Flexographic Printing Presses, Converting Folders, Formers, various types of packaging equipment and conveyor systems.
Diagnoses, adjusts, and repairs mechanical, electrical, power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities according to PM schedules.
Assists in updating and maintaining computer tracking for preventive maintenance, work orders, labor tracking, spare parts, and general maintenance.
Ability to lead maintenance projects from start to finish.
Follows GMP and SQF guidelines and reports any food safety issues to supervisor.
Fosters a positive work environment.
Ability to train and support employees as needed.
Compensation & Incentives:
The compensation range for this position is $29 - $33 based on experience and education.
10-12 paid holidays per year

Job Specifications:
Score of 50-68 on the Ramsey Main Test and/or 5 years of related experience
Three to five years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; an Associate’s degree (AA) in Electro/Mechanical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Robotics is preferred but not required
Ability to demonstrate fabrication, machining, and the ability to upgrade a machine mechanically
Proficient with shop tools, processes, and diagnostic/measuring devices for equipment assembly, disassembly, machining, fabrication, rebuilds, installation, alignment, cutting, welding, pipefitting and related tasks
Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize workload, and respond to changing priorities
Good judgment and decision-making skills
Must be able to read, comprehend, communicate, and perform tasks effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work shifts as needed for vacation relief or other business needs
Protective clothing/equipment required:
Safety glasses
