In this position, you will:

Key Responsibilities & Career Development Opportunities
Patient Experience & Guest Services Leadership
In this highly visible role, you will help shape the first impression and overall experience for patients, families, and visitors entering our community.
Responsibilities include:
Serving as a welcoming first point of contact for guests, patients, and families
Coordinating new patient check-ins and assisting with facility tours
Managing incoming calls and directing communication across departments
Maintaining accurate scheduling records and supporting appointment coordination
Assisting in the coordination of new patient admissions and transportation logistics
This portion of the role helps develop customer service leadership, healthcare communication, and operational coordination skills.
Transportation & Care Coordination Experience
This role provides valuable exposure to patient logistics and care coordination, helping ensure residents safely attend medical appointments and community outings.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating transportation for medical appointments, admissions, activities, and errands
Serving as a backup transportation driver using community vehicles
Working with external transportation providers to ensure appropriate services are available
Maintaining driver requirements, training, and compliance documentation
Performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance concerns
This experience helps build organizational, planning, and healthcare coordination skills that are valuable for future leadership roles.
Life Enrichment & Patient Engagement
Supporting patient wellbeing is an important part of recovery. In this role you will help promote social engagement, therapeutic activities, and patient connection.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with group and one-on-one activities for rehabilitation patients
Encouraging participation in programs that support recovery and emotional wellbeing
Working alongside the Life Enrichment Director to help facilitate activities and events
Providing individualized engagement for patients unable to attend group activities
Assisting with transportation of patients to activity programs
Supporting special events, family visits, and rehab-focused programming
This portion of the role allows you to develop program coordination, patient engagement, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
Team Collaboration & Leadership Development
As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining familiarity with emergency preparedness and safety procedures
Supporting compliance with facility policies and operational standards
Collaborating with nursing, life enrichment, and administrative teams
Assisting leadership with operational needs across departments
Supporting additional initiatives that enhance the patient and guest experience
This role provides exposure to multiple departments, offering valuable insight into the broader operations of a skilled nursing facility.
