Production Worker

3rd Shift

This 3rd shift Production Worker role involves operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to support continuous production. You will handle product feeding, packing, and visual inspection tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout your shift.
Responsibilities

Feed product into production lines and equipment according to established procedures.
Pack finished products accurately and efficiently to meet production targets.
Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies and remove nonconforming items.
Follow all safety guidelines while working with production equipment and materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
Stand and remain actively engaged on the production floor for the entirety of the shift.
Handle and lift items up to 30 lbs as part of regular production and packing activities.
Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills

Previous experience in production, packing, or inspecting environments is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail to identify product defects and ensure quality standards.
Ability to stand for the entirety of an 8-hour shift on the production floor.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
Reliable attendance and punctuality for 3rd shift schedules.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Commitment to working safely and following all safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Comfort working in a fast-paced, repetitive-task production environment.
Willingness to work 3rd shift hours (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.).
Flexibility to work either a SundayThursday or TuesdaySaturday schedule as assigned.
Ability to wear and maintain appropriate protective footwear such as steel toe shoes or boots.
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
This role is based in a production and manufacturing facility operating on 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with schedules typically running SundayThursday or TuesdaySaturday. You will work on your feet for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment that involves repetitive tasks such as feeding, packing, and inspecting products. The facility follows safety protocols, and you must wear appropriate protective footwear, including steel toe shoes or boots, while on the production floor. The work area includes standard production equipment and packing stations, and you will regularly handle and lift items up to 30 lbs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
