Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled machine operator with over two years of experience working with lathe machines, specifically Haas machines. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers effectively. Experience in machine setup is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling and milling.
Understand task specifications and desired results by reading blueprints and customer specifications.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Supervise machines during operations and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
Inspect and measure finished products to verify adherence to requirements.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functionality and coolant levels.
Complete all documents associated with production.
Prevent damage to equipment or processes.
Follow ISO quality management system procedures.
Adhere to safety and environmental procedures.
Follow written and verbal directions from team leaders and supervisors.
Collaborate with all departments as necessary.
Perform non-routine tasks assigned by supervisors or company officers.
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation, CNC, and lathe machines.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Ability to use hand tools and set up machines.
Associate's degree or trade course certificate from a two-year college or technical school.
Strong math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and convert metric units.
Reasoning skills to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Occasionally, you will work near moving mechanical parts with air-borne particles, and the noise level can be high. Hearing protection may be required in some situations.
