Material Handler/Kitter (Avery Creek) - 2nd Shift
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Material Handler/Kitter (Avery Creek) - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. The core hours are 4pm-2:30am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You'll Do:
The primary function of the Material Handler/Kitter is to sort, distribute, supply and package materials. In this function you will:
Ownership of storage racks including daily review of Racks, 5S+, Rack Labels, etc
Load and unload steel trucks and/or copper truck as required
Move material throughout the Fabrication as needed including keeping brakes staged with unbent parts, delivering bent parts to the paint line, and delivering completed fabricated components as required to rack locations.
Keep pallet bins full of pallets.
Assist in breaking out steel from Amada skeletons when necessary
Weigh and empty scrap bins and record weight in spreadsheet.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D from an accredited institution

1 year forklift experience within the last 3 years
Previous experience as Material Handler
Previous experience with Kanban
Position Criteria:
Able to lift 35 pounds
waist, shoulder, overhead. Ability to climb ladders. Proven history of safe work habits. Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision. Computer skills
Microsoft Office, Internet, Excel, etc. Must be able to work overtime
weekdays and weekends.
