The Trail Crew Member at Woodward Camp is an integral part of the camper's experience. They will be responsible for keeping Woodward's renowned dirt facilities (Small Dirt, Big Dirt, MTB Trails and BMX Racetrack) operating at a high level. The Dirt Jump Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure all the courses/features are in safe, ridable, and presentable condition. In addition, the Dirt Jump Attendant should be focused on the safety of the campers and staff at all times. The Trail Crew Member should be eager to learn new skills, able to work in an outside environment, and work in a team setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with guest requests and needs in a timely manner
Support daily maintenance and perform weekly and monthly checks for all dirt facilities
Carry out all repairs for maintenance needs including but not limited to:
Dirt Course Maintenance and Repair
Water Usage
Tarping
Drainage
Painting
Groundskeeping
Sealing
Operating a vehicle to execute assigned duties such as MTB Trail Shuttle trips for campers/staff
Keep detailed records for all projects and maintenance schedules
Provide a feedback report to evaluate, evolve, and elevate all courses and equipment
Utilize a wide array of hand and power tools under proper supervision/operating procedures
Use proper Personal Protective Equipment when operating machinery
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
General experience with building and maintaining dirt jumps/trails, maintenance repairs and troubleshooting and lawn care maintenance.
Certified with applicable equipment.
General knowledge in mechanical and small engine maintenance.
Provide work related references upon request.
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred 2+ years of experience building and maintaining dirt jumps and features.
Pre-requisites
Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:
Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
Safesport Training Certificate
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.
Primary on-site work location: Woodward, PA
Preferred Commitment: 9 weeks
