Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
We are seeking a dynamic CMA to provide support and assist residents in performing daily living activities. We are looking for a compassionate advocate for residents and their families. As a CMA you will be responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and record residents' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Help residents with mobility, including transfers and repositioning.
Provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care.
Respond to resident call lights and assist with other needs in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Report any changes in a resident's condition to the supervising nurse.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure residents' individualized care plans are implemented effectively, meeting both physical and emotional needs.
Qualifications
Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Current certification as a Medication Aide in the state of practice.
Current CNA certification in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents with diverse physical and cognitive needs.
Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with residents, families, staff.
A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to seniors.
