We are seeking a motivated Carpenter with 35 years of experience to support residential and/or commercial construction projects. This role involves hands-on carpentry work, assisting with builds and installations, and working closely with a Foreman and crew to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with construction, installation, and repair of structures using wood, metal, and other materials
Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Safely operate hand tools and power tools
Support job site setup, cleanup, and organization
Load, unload, and transport materials as needed
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Use company apps/tools for time tracking and communication
Qualifications:
35 years of carpentry or construction experience
Experience with framing, decking, and general construction practices
Ability to read blueprints and understand basic building codes
Proficiency with hand tools and most power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors or at heights
Requirements:
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Basic hand tools and safety equipment
Smartphone for job-related communication and tracking
Schedule & Benefits:
Typical hours: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM / 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (varies by day)
