Assembler Position
Staffmark has partnered with a phenomenal manufacturing company in Fort Worth to hire an experienced assembler with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Through cutting-edge innovation and an unyielding commitment to customer satisfaction, our client delivers solutions for the supermarket, convenience store, scientific, and industrial markets.
Pay: $18 per hour (+ $2 shift differential) 1st Shift Hours: 5 AM -1:30 PM 2nd Shift Hours: 3 PM
11:30 PM Must train on the 1st shift for 1 month at a pay rate of $18/hr. Will get a pay increase to $20/hr. once moved to 2nd shift.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or construction
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and productivity
Basic measurement skills; ability to read a tape measure required
Blueprint reading experience is a plus (training available)
Assembler Responsibilities:
Assemble panels, doors, frames, and related components following specifications and production standards
Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, nail/staple guns, hammers, and measuring devices
Measure materials accurately (up to 1/16") and follow blueprints or work instructions as needed
Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process and document results as required
Prepare, load, and move materials and finished products using proper lifting techniques or material handling equipment
Install components such as hinges, latches, windows, trims, electrical elements, and other hardware
Support production processes, including foaming, finishing, stacking, and shipment preparation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures
Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet production goals
