Fabricator
Sidump'r is looking for a fabricator to run machines such as band saw, press brake and laser that punch, cut, shape, and bend metal to specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Read blue prints and determine measurements
Ability to run overhead crane and forklift
Complete required machine set up, load/unload machine, and manufacture programmed parts including the disassembly and assembly of machine.
Complete finished product within the parameters outlined in blueprints and schedule.
Maximize efficiencies in changeover necessary regarding tools, equipment, jigs, carts, etc.
Utilize required tools (i.e. caliper, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, protractors) to adhere to all quality standards by producing products which align with the print specifications.
Must practice safety awareness
Performs equipment preventative maintenance as directed
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to read, comprehend and write English at an advanced level
Advanced blueprint reading and problem solving skills required
Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, decimals), reading and writing
Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification.
Previous work experience in a heavy industrial is preferred; however, not required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently stand and walk
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willing to work overtime if needed
Must be at least 18 years old
