Press Brake Operator
Location: Graham, NC
Pay Range: $30-$35 per hour
What It’s About
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work orders to determine machine settings and required bend sequences.
Measure product dimensions and verify accuracy throughout the production process.
Perform first‑piece inspections to confirm tolerances and specifications are met.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality output.
Qualifications
5+ years of press brake set‑up and operating experience, preferably with Amada or Trumpf equipment.
Ability to read and use measuring tools (e.g., protractors, calipers, micrometers, tape measures); scanning instruments preferred.
Strong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and work with measurements.
Minimum of three years of CNC experience.
High School Diploma or GED; additional equipment certification is preferred.
