COTA Duties Include:
OTA will work as part of the therapy team and under the guidance of an OT
OTA will select therapy activities to fit Residents' needs and capabilities.
OTA will assist Residents in carrying out daily activities.
OTA will monitor Residents' performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.
OTA will teach Residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.
OTA will work in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan.
OTA will supervise Residents' activities to ensure they are done properly.
OTA will report the Resident's progress to the OT.
OTA will handle administrative and clerical tasks for therapy team.

A graduate of an accredited OTA Program
Current OTA License
Experience in long-term-care settings preferred
