Process Technician (2nd and 3rd Shift)
The Process Technician sets up, changes over, and operates blow mold equipment to support efficient, high-quality production. This role ensures machinery runs smoothly to meet production goals while performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment within a plastics manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Set up blow mold equipment according to production specifications and safety standards.
Perform changeovers on blow mold equipment to support different product runs and minimize downtime.
Operate blow mold machinery efficiently to meet or exceed daily and weekly production targets.
Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
Conduct minor repairs on blow mold and related production equipment as issues arise.
Inspect finished plastic products for defects and ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
Follow established operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around all machinery and equipment.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience setting up, changing over, and operating blow mold equipment.
Practical knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, particularly blow molding.
Ability to work with plastic injection mold and blow mold machinery in a production environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
Ability to monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting plastic products for quality and consistency.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while meeting production goals.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
