Position Overview

The Tool Prep & Reconditioning Technician will finish innovative composite parts and be a part of a team of people whose goal is to produce high quality parts that exceed our customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Manually prep and recondition tools and fixtures to the highest quality standards
Ensure best practices and SOPs are followed at all times
Adequately prepare various tool substrates by filling or sanding to specified surface requirements
Provide TP&R Lead updates on tool status and progress
Communicate any issues that are noticed that are outside of the provided scope of work
Promote a positive work environment by welcoming unexpected schedule changes
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Team:

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
Good verbal and communication skills
Must be able to use small hand tools, sanders, drills, manual routers, adhesive applicators, calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices

Hours of Operation: Normal business hours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as scheduled by leadership.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
