Why Work Here?
Employees enjoy strong benefits and paid time off, along with access to a dedicated health app that provides video and chat access to a therapist-like primary care resource at no cost for eligible users. The organization invests in employee well-being by covering this health app fully, and also supports access to medical prescriptions, with some items handled through personal health insurance. The culture is professional yet laid-back, with a supportive supervisor and on-the-floor leadership presence that encourages focus and productivity. Team members benefit from a stable schedule, opportunities to work with their hands on tangible products, and a collaborative environment where training and guidance are readily available.
Work Environment
The position is based in a fairly laid-back, medium-sized, climate-controlled shop that is not noisy or overly loud. The facility is full of product but organized so that people have enough room to work comfortably. You may work alone on sub-assemblies or with one or two others on full assemblies, and you will have a trainer working with you during the training period. The typical schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work on Fridays is generally optional and, when needed, usually limited to a partial day until around 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The environment can vary between low-key periods and times when quick turnaround is required and the team needs to increase output. Leadership on the floor expects employees to stay focused on their tasks and avoid personal cell phone use while working, supporting a productive and professional atmosphere. No specific dress code details are provided beyond standard expectations for a manufacturing shop setting.
