Core Responsibilities
Advanced Clinical Oversight: Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and real-time documentation of all resident assessments, care plans, and clinical interventions.
Medication Excellence: Efficiently transcribe physician orders onto MARs/TARs and oversee the precise administration of all medications and complex treatments.
Pharmacy Liaison: Coordinate seamlessly with the pharmacy to manage new orders, refills, and urgent medication needs, ensuring zero interruption in resident care.
Interdisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to lead the interdisciplinary care team and advocate for resident-centered goals.
Mentorship: Provide clinical guidance and oversight to LPNs and CNAs, ensuring the highest standards of safety and dignity are met on every shift.
Quality Assurance: Participate in facility-wide quality improvement initiatives as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications
Licensure: Must possess an Active and Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Wisconsin.
Critical Thinking: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead under pressure.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and modern clinical software.
