
Helper - 2nd Shift

Helper Position
DWM Holdings is looking to fill a 2nd shift Helper position. This person reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a member of the company's Production team. Responsibilities include working under direction from the Line Leader, performing job duties in a safe manner in accordance with DWM operational, safety and quality procedures, visually identifying and inspecting finished products, maintaining and operating equipment in a safe manner, completing work within expected periods of time, having good attendance and punctuality, keeping workspace clean in accordance to housekeeping standards, and performing other work as assigned by Line Leader or Production/QA Supervisor. Proficient knowledge of OSHA standards, regulations, and safety loading practices is required.
Skills and competencies include the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and a consistent pace, a quality focus striving for high level of accuracy and completeness, the ability to learn new tasks and learn to operate basic production equipment, strong observation skills and detail orientation, being a supportive team player, communicating well with all staff, proficiency in math and computer technology with the ability to learn new software programs, handling multiple, complex priorities and balancing the needs of each according to production material needs, and a strong ability to learn and implement Lean manufacturing practices. Some heavy lifting may be required; able to walk, stand, bend, reach for entire work shift.
Hours: 5:15 pm - 1:45 am or 3:45 am, depending on workload.
