Welder and Fabricator
The role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings, cutting and shaping metal components, and performing high-quality welding and fabrication to produce parts and assemblies that meet company specifications, safety standards, and production schedules.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Fabricate metal components using cutting, bending, and forming tools.
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core techniques as required.
Assemble parts and structures according to specifications.
Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy.
Operate fabrication equipment such as presses, grinders, saws, and drills.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
Follow safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve fabrication or design issues.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in at least one welding process (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of metal types and fabrication techniques.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
