Industrial Painter / Sandblaster
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter / Sandblaster for commercial projects in the Nashua, NH area. This role involves surface preparation using abrasive blasting and applying protective coatings to a variety of industrial surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Perform sandblasting (abrasive blasting) to remove rust, paint, and contaminants
Clean and prepare surfaces using solvents, pressure washers, or mechanical tools
Mask and protect areas not intended for coating
Apply coatings using spray guns, rollers, and brushes
Mix paints, primers, and coatings to required specifications
Apply protective coatings such as epoxy, polyurethane, or fireproofing materials
Operate blasting equipment, spray tools, and air compressors
Inspect equipment for safety and proper function
Inspect surfaces before and after coating to ensure quality and thickness standards
Requirements
Experience with industrial painting and sandblasting (preferred)
Knowledge of coating systems and surface preparation techniques
Ability to operate spray equipment and blasting machinery
Understanding of safety standards and PPE
Physical ability to lift, stand for long periods, and work at heights or in confined spaces
