**Industrial Painter / Blaster - 1st Shift**
**Shift:** 1st Shift | 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
**Overtime:** Required as needed
**Job Summary**
We are hiring an experienced **Industrial Painter / Blaster** to prepare, prime, and paint trailer units to a high-quality finish. This role involves surface preparation using shot blasting equipment and applying coatings using spray guns in a paint booth environment.
Candidates with backgrounds in **auto body, automotive painting, or industrial painting** are strongly encouraged to apply.
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Prepare trailer units for painting by cleaning and surface blasting using a shot blast gun/hose
+ Apply steel shot to trailer surfaces to ensure proper adhesion
+ Prime and paint all areas of the trailer unit with a consistent, quality finish
+ Operate spray guns and paint guns safely and effectively
+ Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE and fresh-air breathing equipment
+ Inspect finished work to ensure quality and coverage standards are met
**Work Environment**
+ Enclosed paint booth environment
+ Required to wear hooded suits and fresh-air breathing apparatus
+ Industrial setting with strong emphasis on safety and quality
**Experience (Preferred)**
+ Prior **industrial painting or blasting** experience
+ Experience with **spray guns, paint prep, or auto body painting**
+ **Experience in automotive or auto body shop environments** is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Haleyville, AL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.40 - $27.40/hr.
