Lead Industrial Painter
Join our team as a Lead Industrial Painter, working on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 7am-4pm, and Fridays from 7am-11am. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for coating, operating HVLP spray guns, and ensuring quality and consistency in all painted products.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for coating by sanding, grinding, and cleaning as needed.
Operate HVLP spray guns and related equipment to apply wet paint.
Ensure proper curing of coated parts using industrial ovens.
Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency.
Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating equipment and spray booths.
Monitor inventory of powders and supplies; coordinate with purchasing as needed.
Enforce safety and environmental regulations in the coating area.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and standards.
Prepping and washing parts.
Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in powder coating
Proficient in using electrostatic spray equipment and industrial ovens
Strong understanding of surface preparation, coating thickness, and curing processes
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
