The person hired for the position of Product Inspector Team Member will work at our Angleton, TX.

Here, you will make an impact by:
Maintain a safe work environment. Understand safety and hazardous material handling requirements, safety requirements in the department manual, and job safety analysis for their respective job functions.
Prepare, operate and maintain test equipment including calibrations.
Perform calculations and data analysis, including comparison of test results to established specifications, identifying variability, root cause analysis and formulating corrective action plans.
Interact with regulatory and/or testing entities.
Document test results, maintain records, prepare detailed reports and communicate results.
Maintain accurate, thorough and organized records.
Build working relationships with coworkers, suppliers, customers and 3M employees.
Train personnel on test procedures and proper use of testing equipment.
Maintain good housekeeping - no clutter in walkways, work areas or storage areas
To perform the job in such a way to meet all Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Objectives.
Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or lead.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
One (1) year industry or labor experience in a private, public, government of military environment
***Applicants meeting the basic qualification above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Preferred stable work history.
Preferred computer knowledge.
This position may require overtime work, weekends, and holidays.
This position may require working rotating shifts.

The pay range for this position is $24.64/hr.-$32.84/hr.
