Quality Control / Receiving Associate
We are currently hiring a Quality Control / Receiving Associate to join our team in the 77041 area. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in both quality inspection and warehouse receiving. You will be responsible for testing materials, reviewing data, and ensuring all incoming shipments meet company and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality testing and inspections (hardness, visual, and system-based testing)
Review, interpret, and summarize test data; generate reports for customers (System 22, PMI, etc.)
Ensure all materials meet required specifications and report any discrepancies
Maintain accurate documentation to support testing and quality procedures
Calibrate and maintain testing equipment on a regular schedule
Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and organize inventory
Track and record invoices and product movement within the warehouse
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or warehouse receiving
Familiarity with testing equipment such as optical comparator, XM/IM systems, or hardness testers preferred
Basic understanding of ISO standards and quality procedures is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with technical data
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
