Cardiac Study Center (CSC) partners with Pulse Heart Institute to deliver trusted outpatient cardiology care across the Puget Sound region for over 50 years. In 2016, CSC joined with MultiCare Health System to form Pulse Heart Institutebringing together clinical excellence, innovation, research, and education to improve heart health in our communities.
We serve patients across general and specialty cardiology, including Heart Failure, Vascular, Electrophysiology & Device, and Nuclear Imaging. Our Medical Assistants play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will be an essential part of the patient care team, supporting providers and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role blends clinical care, patient interaction, and operational support in a specialty cardiology setting.
You will help coordinate patient flow, perform clinical tasks, and support providers during exams and procedures. Your work directly contributes to patient safety, efficient clinic operations, and a positive patient experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

Room patients and coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic
Record medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information
Assist providers during exams and treatments
Administer injections and collect specimens as needed
Clinic Operations

Prepare exam rooms and clean medical instruments between patients
Maintain and restock medical supplies
Support efficient patient scheduling and clinic workflow
Patient Communication & Compliance

Answer patient questions and provide clear instructions
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards at all times
What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (required upon hire)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications

1 year of healthcare experience (preferred but not required)
Experience in outpatient or specialty care settings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift: 8-hour shifts, MondayFriday
Location: Olympia Clinic 3920 Capital Mall Dr SW, Suite 203, Olympia, WA 98502
Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic

Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, and education, consistent with internal equity and pay transparency requirements.
