Hiring a CNC Machinist in Ft. Loudon, PA
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for working from blueprints and shop drawings to determine machine offset requirements for specific jobs. The role includes loading and unloading machines with raw materials using jib cranes or hoists, manipulating or changing out programs on the CNC machines, and performing first-piece inspections of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
Shifts Available: 2nd shift 2pm-10:20pm, 3rd shift 10pm-6am
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Responsibilities
Work from blueprints and shop drawings to determine machine offset requirements.
Load and unload machines with raw materials utilizing jib cranes or hoists.
Manipulate or change out programs on CNC machines prior to machining.
Perform first-piece inspections of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and work from blueprints.
Machine operating.

Work Environment
The work environment is a newly built, detailed, and clean shop equipped with brand new CNC machines, welding, and painting booths. The facility operates with a 5S methodology and currently hosts about 25 employees across three shifts. Long pants and steel-toed shoes are required, and safety glasses and uniforms are provided. Initial training will be on the first shift for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the designated shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
