Position Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Cullman, Alabama, United States
Pay Rate: $27.00 /hour
Top Requirements
2–5 years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)
Basic understanding of G code and CNC operations
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable and able to work in a team environment
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to produce precision parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Perform basic machine setups, tool changes, and offsets
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect parts
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and elevate when needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Required Qualifications
2–5 years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)
Basic understanding of G code and CNC operations

Experience using precision measurement tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable and able to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated or semi-automated machining environments
Exposure to CNC programming or editing programs
