Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
Monitor production runs to ensure accuracy and quality
Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
Maintain machines and perform basic preventive maintenance
Ensure adherence to quality standards and production timelines
Qualifications
2–4 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of machine setup and operation
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming
Experience with multi-axis CNC machines
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices
