Travel CNC Machinist
Join our dynamic team as a Travel CNC Machinist, where you will set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, utilizing G and M codes for machine programming and troubleshooting, and performing quality checks using precision measuring tools. Your expertise will ensure optimal machine performance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Utilize G and M codes for machine programming and troubleshooting.
Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Maintain machines and ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machining with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Ability to program using G and M codes.
Experience in using precision measuring tools.
Mastery of Mastercam programming.
Knowledge of Solidworks, GD&T, and familiarity with Fanuc controls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with 4 and 5 axis CNC mill machines.
Knowledge of high-performance engine components.
Experience in aerospace and/or automotive manufacturing.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

This is a Contract position based out of Odon, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
