We are currently seeking a Weekend Resident Care Partner (CP) at our Houston - Woodway community.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Weekends; Double Shifts: 6A-2P & 2P-10P
Assisting residents with activities of daily living; providing resident care
Responding to resident calls
Maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members
Assisting with resident outings and community events
Helping provide necessary assistance to ensure the highest quality of resident life
Offering choices, maintaining and promoting dignity and individuality
Encouraging residents to participate in activities
Leading programming/activities as assigned
Working with housekeepers and maintenance staff to maintain community cleanliness
Working with Dining Services to ensure resident's needs are met
Following safety policies and procedures
Assisting and serving residents at mealtime
Supporting residents in daily household tasks ensuring their apartments are neat and safe at all times
Conducting wellness checks according to service plan and as needed
Attending all required training, in-service, and staff meetings
Striving to maintain a safe working environment
Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers
Performing other duties as assigned
Required:
A High School Diploma or General Education Degree
Certified CNA or CMA a plus
At least one-year experience working with seniors
Physical requirements: stands and walks short distances. Frequent lifting of 20
30 pounds. Bends, squats, kneels, and reaches. Activity level is high.
