Summer Program Counselor - Movies In the Park

Salary: $17.50/hourly
Major Responsibilities
Drive to and from Transportation Hub to various parks around the City of Atlanta.
Assist with set up and break down movie screen and audio equipment.
Work closely with Parks Managers and coordinators to ensure that movie showings are professionally implemented.
Assist with evaluating movie sites and ensure that locations are safe and feasible.
Maintain accurate records.
Maintain mobile unit vehicle. Keep inventory of equipment and update citywide and borough coordinator on repairs needed of vehicle.
Ensure that promotional materials are distributed to each movie site 2 weeks prior to movie screening.
Qualifications
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and either:
Three summer seasons or 1 year of experience as instructor, counselor or coach in an organized recreation program OR;
Completion of 30 credits towards a degree from an accredited college; OR
Satisfactory equivalent of education and experience as described above "1".
Valid Georgia Driver's License.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Experience working with a variety of audio/visual equipment including but not limited to, video conferencing units, LCDs, laptop computers, and amplification systems.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Experience working with public in a community setting.
Valid Georgia state driver's license.
Ability to work nights and weekends.
