Industrial Painter
QPS Employment Group is hiring Industrial Painters for a reputable manufacturing company in Allison, IA. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with competitive pay and consistent hours. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
$17.50-$18.50 per hour
Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Measure and mix paints using tools such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges.
Ensure proper consistency and formulation for each job.
Apply coatings using spray equipment, rollers, and brushes.
Work with primers, pre-finishes, and final coats to achieve high-quality finishes.
Utilize proper protective equipment when working with hazardous materials.
Clean and maintain painting equipment and workspace.
Safely handle and dispose of paints and chemicals.
Follow all safety standards and guidelines.
Industrial Painter Requirements:
Experience with industrial painting or coatings preferred.
Familiarity with spray equipment, rollers, and brushes.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and on a team.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Perform repetitive motions such as spraying or brushing.
Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Bend, stoop, reach, and work in various positions.
Ability to wear PPE for extended periods.
