Direct Care Professional (DCP)
As a full-time Awake Night Direct Care Professional, you'll provide care for adults with disabilities during the overnight hours at our Brooklyn Park, MN location of ACR Homes. Tasks include administering medications, performing light cleaning and laundry duties, meal preparation, checking on residents, repositioning, and more.

Rate of Pay:
Training wages: $14.00 (part-time)-$16.25 (full-time) and no experience is necessary.
$18.25-$20.25/hour for day and evening shifts--dependent on placement location's rate exception differential, if applicable
$20.50-$22.50/hour for weekend shifts--dependent on placement location's rate exception differential, if applicable
$18.25-$20.25/hour for part-time employees working weekday awake overnight shifts, depending on house's Rate Exception Differential.
$20.50-$22.50/hour for part-time employees working weekend awake overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday), dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.
$20.50-$22.50/hour for full-time employees working weekday awake overnight shifts, dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.
$22.75-$24.75/hour for full-time employees working weekend awake overnight shifts (Friday & Saturday), dependent on placement location's Rate Exception Differential, if applicable.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
You must be at least 18 years old
You must have a drivers license and a relatively clean driving record
You must be able and willing to provide care for both male and female clients
You must be able to do some lifting
You must be able to work independently and you must have interpersonal skills including empathy, responsibility, self-control, good judgment, and overall adjustment
You must be able to see, hear, speak, interact, and write in English sufficiently to perform the essential functions of the position
Part-time requires a minimum of 10 shifts/month (2-3 shifts/week) with an increasing number of homes only requiring 2 shifts/week.
Full-time employees must work at least 38-40 hours per week
