District Registration Secretary

Reports to: Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Superintendent Work Activity Classification: Sedentary
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Employment Status: Full-time
208 day contract with 18 flexible work days included with the specific intent to be used during summer weeks as approved by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and/or the Superintendent.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, High moral character, High degree of proficiency in keyboarding, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and other common school related hardware and software, Professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, students, parents, and community, Expertise in student registration law, policy, and procedures, Strong communication skills
General Description: Serve as a district secretary with the specific role of planning, organizing and supporting student registration and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
Maintain respect for confidential information at all times.
Perform district duties of student registration for all district school buildings.
Perform duties of home schooling requirements and procedures.
Perform duties of open enrollment requirements and procedures.
Prepare and maintain appropriate student registration files and records.
Serve as liaison between families registering students in Cloverleaf Local Schools and appropriate school building secretaries, counselors, and principals.
Communicate and collaborate with EMIS secretary effectively and consistently.
Coordinate, communicate, and maintain district calendar for non-school hour facility usage.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a role model for students and staff as to how to conduct themselves as Citizens, and as responsible, intelligent human beings.
Help instill in students and staff the belief in and practice of ethical principles and Democratic values.
Perform other related secretarial duties as assigned by the principal, assistant principals, and/or superintendent and as permitted by the negotiated agreement.
Additional Working Conditions:
Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue.
Occasional interaction among unruly children.
Terms of Employment: Salary to be established by the board.
