Plant Supervisor (Injection Molding)
Salary: $75,000 annually
Schedule: Must be flexible to oversee both shifts

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Plant Supervisor to lead operations within a plastic injection molding facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met, and providing leadership across multiple shifts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in injection molding processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily plant operations across both shifts, adjusting schedule as needed to support production demands
Develop and execute production plans to meet output and delivery targets
Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, and necessary supplies
Initiate and manage purchase order requests related to production needs
Monitor productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance
Generate and analyze production reports to drive decision-making
Troubleshoot machine alarms, programming issues, and process parameters
Optimize injection molding processes for quality and efficiency
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
Lead, support, and develop production team members
Qualifications:
35 years of experience in plastic injection molding, specifically with polypropylene and polystyrene
Experience operating and troubleshooting 350-ton injection molding machines
Strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes and parameters
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Ability to work flexible hours and oversee multiple shifts
Skills & Competencies:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent organizational and production planning skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions
Effective communication and team leadership skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
Tools & Equipment Experience:
Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies
Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments, including:
Calipers
Micrometers
Plastometers
Other measurement and testing devices
