Packaging Operators
Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Packaging Operators for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a key role in our clients manufacturing operations, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and meet strict quality and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience in regulated production environments. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include:
1st shift: 8:00am
5:00pm
2nd shift: 4:30pm
1:00am
Requirements of the Job:
Operate packaging machinery and equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Monitor production lines to ensure proper function and product quality
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment, including PLC systems
Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling of products
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP standards
Follow all FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and safety protocols
Use hand tools to perform minor equipment adjustments and repairs
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Accurately document production activities and report any issues promptly
Required Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, or production equipment is a plus
Knowledge of FDA, CGMP, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work overtime as needed
