Overview
Penske Logistics is looking for Forklift Operators to join our excellent team in Georgetown, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be an experienced forklift operator familiar with operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, clamp, or cherry picker trucks to move, load, locate, unload, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. Monday - Friday, 5:15pm - 2:00AM
Mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays

Job Responsibilities
Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments and equipment needs
Load and unload trailers; move materials within the warehouse
Accurately match numbers and letters
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Accurately stage and sort products for loading
Open and close dock doors
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
Stack pallets, bins, totes, etc.
Comply with all safety requirements
Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling as required
Sit Down, Stand Up, Clamp Truck, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker experience highly preferred
No prior warehouse experience required but highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
Ability to work independently, strong customer service, multi-tasking, organizational, flexible, time management skills required
Flexible to work overtime preferred
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specific location required
Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
