Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
This role addresses the challenge of scaling software quality within a complex, fast-paced development environment by balancing automation with strategic manual testing. The person in this position will bridge the gap between engineering objectives and product reliability, ensuring that testing processes evolve alongside modern CI/CD practices. By fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous mentorship, the manager ensures the testing organization remains a pillar of technical excellence and predictable delivery.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
Alignment of test strategies with organizational OKRs to ensure high-quality delivery and minimized production defects across all initiatives
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by driving test coverage enhancements and process optimization through the application of AI-driven testing tools
Strategic leadership of the testing team to identify and mitigate technical risks early in the SDLC, significantly improving overall product stability
Development of a high-performing team through personalized coaching and mentorship that aligns individual career aspirations with departmental milestones
Clear communication of team progress and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership, ensuring all project deliverables meet strict time-to-market requirements
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)
Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to influence organizational change and prioritize complex technical tasks
Critical experience in leading and developing multi-level testing teams, including the management of other supervisors or team leads
AI Literacy and the ability to evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies to enhance testing efficiency and innovation
Exceptional collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills to unify stakeholders, engineering teams, and product managers
Advanced expertise in balancing manual exploratory testing with scalable automated testing frameworks
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Minimum Experience:
4+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a software testing or QA environment
Required Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of automated testing tools and modern QA infrastructure
Experience with Agile project management and reporting software

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
