We’re seeking an experienced
Lead Residential AV Technician
to support and lead luxury home automation and audio/video projects throughout
Palm Beach County, Florida . This role combines advanced programming expertise with hands-on installation leadership in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute luxury residential AV and home automation installations from rough-in through final commissioning
Program, configure, and commission systems using Savant, Lutron, and Crestron Home
Oversee on-site installation quality, system performance, and adherence to project standards
Install, terminate, and configure AV equipment including displays, speakers, racks, control systems, and network infrastructure
Design, deploy, and troubleshoot advanced residential networks using Netgear AV Line, Ruckus, Araknis, and similar platforms
Mentor and support junior technicians while coordinating with project managers and clients
Perform system testing, documentation, and client walkthroughs to ensure a white-glove experience
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Savant, Lutron, and Crestron Home programming
Proven background in luxury residential AV installations
Advanced networking expertise, including managed switches, wireless systems, and VLAN configurations
Excellent troubleshooting skills, leadership ability, and professional customer-facing presence
$40–$50 per hour, based on experience
Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
