Job Summary
As a Medical Appointment Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling appointments for patients at the healthcare facility. You will work closely with healthcare providers and patients to ensure that appointments are scheduled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling outbound medical appointments for patients
Engaging with health plan members through outbound calls
Scheduling In-Home Health Evaluations, and answering member questions
Arrange and coordinate the scheduling of the evaluations
Answer member questions and provide support
Outbound calls will be made using a cloud-based calling software system.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a medical office or scheduling role preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus
Proficient in computer skills and experience using scheduling software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
