Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our 310 South Creek Drive location in Manteno, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standards
Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve performance goals and provide excellent customer service
Manage staff scheduling, including creating work schedules and assigning tasks
Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members
Support loss prevention efforts and maintain store security
Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve store performance
Fill in for the store manager when necessary
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail or service industry management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
Proficient in basic computer applications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and loss prevention techniques
