Overview
Alltex Staffing & Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Desk Support Technician to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their IT systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
Monitor and maintain network security, including antivirus and firewalls
Provide training and support to clients on various software applications
Document and track all support requests and resolutions in a timely manner
Collaborate with other team members to implement new technology and upgrades
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in IT support and services
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in IT support or related role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and remote desktop support
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus
