Collector (Bilingual)

Collect delinquent accounts for property taxes. (Real & Business accounts)
Job Responsibilities
Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
Confer with customers by telephone, email & in person (if need be) about their accounts
Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
Persuade customers to pay amounts due or set arrangements for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules that the firm requires.
Persuade customer to pay tax amounts by using methods that are available to the collectors. (check by phone, E-Payment (Credit Card or E-Check)
Responsible with keeping up with their emails, incoming correspondence and respond in a timely manner.
Responsible with keeping up voicemails and following up promptly.
Any other duties assigned
Physical Demands & Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the collector is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
Collector sits for at least 6 hours per day
Collector uses their work primarily with hands.
Collector must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision ability is required to adjust focus.
