is seeking anexperienced board-certified physician (internal/family medicine) for afull-time Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule opportunity inpost-acute care in the Charlottesville, Virginia area.
Inthis role, you will be responsible for new patient admissions (completephysical, confirming diagnosis, implementation of treatment plan),certifying and recertifying patient stays, rounding on current patientsand updating treatment plan as needed, communicating with medical staffand APPs on-site to ensure consistent quality care for each patient,updating patient charts and prescribing medications as needed.
Thisis a 1099 contractor role compensated on RVU with an expected income of$300,000 to $500,000+ annually. Medical Professional Liability coverageis provided. No call or weekend/after hours requirements.
To qualify for this role, you will need to have the following:
MD/DO from an accredited medical university
Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine in good standing
Active and unencumbered License to practice Medicine in Virginia.
Active and unencumbered DEA license
3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
Excellentcommunication skills (oral and written), diagnostic aptitude, excellentbedside manner, and collaborative/leadership skills
