We are seeking a dynamic Rehab Experience Specialist to join our Outpatient Therapy Team. Rehab Experience Specialists (RES) facilitate the functioning of the outpatient therapy clinics in a variety of supportive functions. Daily responsibilities are divided into A, B and C roles. RESs will rotate between all roles, which include, but are not limited to:
A role: Administrative and clerical support - Preparing patient charts, reviewing therapy orders for accuracy, and monitoring spreadsheets for billing compliance needs.
B role: Front desk reception, scheduling and patient registration processes. Over the counter sales and payment collection. Patient navigation from point of entry to exit from clinic.
C role: Organizing, cleaning and prep of patient care areas, complete equipment maintenance requirements, and supply ordering.
The Float RES will travel between all outpatient therapy clinics to offer support as needed. There will be additional mileage pay if travelling between clinics. Sites include: Deforest, Monona, Central, West and Middleton.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work within the context of patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Work collaboratively with therapy team to support exceptional patient experience and outcomes.
Embrace lifelong learning: willingly receive feedback and learn from team members, seek continual learning opportunities, and share feedback to promote the growth of the team.
Engage in staff meetings and project groups to support exceptional patient care.
Remain up to date with clinic operation changes and workflows (review meeting minutes, review email communications, etc.)
Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and process improvement initiatives within the department.
