Color Technician

to join our Ink Room team, where accuracy, creativity, and problem‑solving come together to support high‑quality printing for our customers.

If you enjoy hands‑on work, mixing and matching colors, and making sure production keeps running smoothly, this is a great opportunity for you!

Color Technician Responsibilities

Mixing and matching inks to meet color and appearance standards

Adjusting formulas and preparing press‑ready ink batches

Performing first-piece approvals and in‑process color checks

Troubleshooting color- or viscosity‑related issues to reduce press downtime

Maintaining accurate ink and solvent inventory

Preparing prototypes, updating formulas, and supporting screening operations

Completing incoming inspections for ink deliveries

Supporting environmental, safety, and quality processesKeeping the mixing room and ink storage areas organized and safe

Color Technician Qualifications

Has strong math skills

Candifferentiate subtle color variations (FM 100 Hue Test required)

Understands job tickets and can enter data into the ERPsystem

Follows safety, PPE, and housekeeping practices

Enjoys hands‑on work and problem solving

Communicates well and works effectively with production teams
