The Product Manager develops and executes the strategic product plans for the timely and impactful release of company slot products benefitting the company’s global gaming operations. The Product Manager is also responsible for complete product lifecycle management from conceptual market evaluation through post-market release with a focus on portfolio optimization.
Responsibilities
Exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Manage a product’s lifecycle and recommend product direction including but not limited to pricing, market research, portfolio management, internal communications, timeliness, and spearheading the development of sales enablement tools
Work iteratively with Research & Development (R&D), Manufacturing, Service, and Compliance to determine product release roadmaps; manage the release product roadmap/schedule
Serves as the product evangelist by communicating product status, key issues and launch plans to key stakeholders across the organization including R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Service teams
Develops and executes robust product trainings and dynamic presentations for Product Management, Marketing and Sales departments
Liaise with Marketing to develop creative, impactful communications and/or other collateral that will maximize the opportunity for product launch success; summarize/ present data to major stakeholders
Coordinate product development priorities with R&D to ensure that released products generate the maximum impact on the company’s strategic objectives and market position
Collate information on advanced ideas and create approachable analytics on a multitude of data points (including but not limited to the AGS test bank program, game performance metrics, and overall game mechanics)
Work closely with internal and external resources to identify new product opportunities and gaps in product functionality as well as to assign priority to key new product ideas; assist with strategic planning for future products and develop business cases where necessary to gain agreement through the organization
Manage education and engagement for new and existing products, including product line extensions and enhancements, prioritization, forecasting, and related activities
Leverage industry and internal performance data to make strategic recommendations to Sales for product placements and R&D for product development with a focus on maximizing revenue
Organize and prioritize current sales and account information to maximize targeted support initiatives and promotions
Provide trade show sales support, including in-depth demonstrations and communicating detailed product knowledge
Build confidence, trust, and alignment with customers by accompanying sales on visits to new and existing markets to analyze potential pain points and opportunities
Create, curate, and manage sales tools within Sharepoint for accessibility and functionality (re-organize backend of Sharepoint Sales Portal for better asset management)
Work with sales to establish both a targeted customer insight program and a player experience initiative
Other duties as assigned
Exposure to casino/gaming hardware lifecycle management preferred
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, marketing or business preferred; or equivalent work experience
3-5+ years experience in product marketing development, or its equivalent. Gaming or similar industry experience preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Excel with advanced knowledge of Excel functions and abilities
Demonstrated understanding of the development of business cases to achieve strategic goals and gain organizational alignment
Demonstrated project management skills to assist with delivering projects on-time, on-budget and on-quality
Requires an understanding of IT concepts (networks, database, application development, software quality assurance, product release management)
