The Chisago Lakes School District is located approximately 35 miles NE of downtown Minneapolis/Saint Paul. The District unites five historical communities with a tradition of excellence. The Chisago Lakes School District is the authorizer for Wolf Creek Charter School and collaborates with the St. Croix River Education District to house the Chisago Lakes Education Center which consists of the Pathway to Change and SOAR (Skill‑building Opportunities for Academic Resiliency) programs. The support for education in our communities is strong as evidenced by support for nearly $65 million in construction from 2018‑2020. A new Lakeside Elementary School and new Wildcat Community Center highlighted new construction and renovations throughout the district. We have a proud tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, community education, and extracurricular activities.
