The Chisago Lakes School District is located approximately 35 miles NE of downtown Minneapolis/Saint Paul. The District unites five historical communities with a tradition of excellence. Each community offers both a unique history and a contemporary charm of its own. The 165 square‑mile district encompasses 24 lakes and the scenic St. Croix River Valley which creates many outdoor recreational opportunities for any outdoor enthusiast. The District serves approximately 3,400 students (PreK-12) and their families. Our Primary School, located in Chisago City, serves our Pre‑K to grade 1 students. Taylors Falls Elementary School, located in Taylors Falls, serves grades PreK‑5 and our Lakeside Elementary School, located in Chisago City, serves grades 2‑5. Chisago Lakes Middle School and High Schools are both located in Lindstrom. The Chisago Lakes School District is the authorizer for Wolf Creek Charter School and collaborates with the St. Croix River Education District to house the Chisago Lakes Education Center which consists of the Pathway to Change and SOAR (Skill‑building Opportunities for Academic Resiliency) programs. The support for education in our communities is strong as evidenced by support for nearly $65 million in construction from 2018‑2020. A new Lakeside Elementary School and new Wildcat Community Center highlighted new construction and renovations throughout the district. We have a proud tradition of excellence in academics, fine arts, community education, and extracurricular activities.

Due to an increase in student enrollment, we are officially expanding and adding another Wildcat Academy Teacher. We are looking for an educator who thrives in a dynamic, high‑growth environment and wants to be a founding voice in our newest classrooms.
POSITION: Wildcat Academy Teacher
LOCATION: High School
LICENSURE: MN Tier 3 or Tier 4 license & ability to obtain a Cross Curricular Delivery Permission
SALARY: 2025/2026 school year: BA – MA+60/PhD $45,820 – $90,170

Responsibilities
The Wildcat Academy Teacher is responsible for the effective delivery and student management of Chisago Lakes Schools online educational programs. This role combines instructional duties with technical responsibilities to ensure a high quality learning experience for students grades 7‑12. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff in a virtual setting.
