We’re looking for a Broadcast Coordinator to lead on the coordination of media broadcast opportunities across Assembly Festival and Edinburgh Food & Folk Festival.
This role sits at the intersection of press, production and media delivery, ensuring all filming, photography and broadcast activity is delivered smoothly and effectively.
This role would suit someone with a background in broadcast, production or media logistics looking to apply their skills within a live festival setting.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all broadcast, filming and photography activity across venues
Liaise with media outlets and artists to confirm requirements and logistics
Work closely with Production teams to ensure feasibility and delivery
Develop, manage and distribute regular broadcast schedules to venues and management teams
Manage access, timings and permissions for media activity to ensure maximum media coverage
Monitor and track charges, liaising with production and finance to invoice or recharge where necessary
Ensure all activity is delivered in line with operational and safety requirements
Act as key point of contact for broadcast and filming queries
Qualifications
Experience in broadcast, production or media coordination
Strong organisational and logistical skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and schedules
Ability to work independently and proactively
Confidence working in a fast-paced live environment
Interest in media, events and live performance
Success in Role
Smooth and efficient delivery of all broadcast and filming activity
Clear and accurate scheduling shared across teams
Strong collaboration with Production and Press teams
Positive relationships with media partners
Contract Details
Contract Period: July – August 2026 – PAYE or Freelance available
48 hours over 6 days per week
Office-based with on-site activity in central Edinburgh
Evening and weekend work required
Pay: £113.5/day up to 6 days a week in delivery period
